Let me tell you a secret: right now, six unique digital products are quietly making between $400 and $3,000 a month on Etsy. Meanwhile, most sellers are stuck fighting over the same crowded niches. I’m not here to waste your time. I’ll show you the real monthly revenue, the sales data, and even the free tools to create these products yourself.
As someone who’s helped over 1,200 people launch their Etsy shops and made over $29,000 in my own—working just 10 hours a week as a homeschooling mom—I know what actually sells.
Now, if you want to move fast, I’ve done the hard part for you. My program, the Sales Sprint, gives you 18 trending digital product templates ready to customize and list today, plus the exact listing strategy so Etsy promotes them for you. The link is below if you’re interested.
But even starting from zero, these six products are perfect for beginners. Let’s dive in.
Product #1: The End-of-Life Planner
I know this feels like a sensitive topic. Please stay with me, because this niche is a genuine gold mine.
Using the Everbee Chrome extension (I’ll link it below for you), let’s look at the data. This listing makes about $1,200 a month at full price. Currently on sale for $6.75 with 91 recent sales, it’s still bringing in roughly $600 monthly.
Here’s the kicker: this listing is only 9 months old. In less than a year, the seller built a product generating over $600 a month—mostly profit, since it’s digital.
Now, look at this trends graph. Their growth rate hit 400%. That spike shows demand picking up, and it’s likely just getting started.
So, why is this product exploding?
First, the aging population. Baby boomers are the largest group entering end-of-life planning. They’re tech-savvy enough to buy digital products, and so are their kids. This market is only growing.
Second, there’s low competition. Most people scroll right past this idea because it feels uncomfortable. That discomfort is your opportunity. Demand is high, but very few sellers are in this space.
Just look at these keyword scores in Everbee, all marked “high.” This signals low competition with high search volume. People are actively searching, but they don’t have many options to buy.
This is crucial for new sellers. Without reviews or sales history, you need every advantage. High keyword scores mean Etsy’s algorithm can find and show your product without you battling 100,000 other shops.
Third, the product has high perceived value. This isn’t just a planner; it’s peace of mind. People pay premium prices to organize documents and final wishes, ensuring they aren’t a burden to their family. This listing is $6.75, but I’ve seen similar products sell for over $20.
How do you create it?
The fastest way is with PLR (Private Label Rights) templates. These are pre-made designs you can buy, customize, and resell as your own—you’re not stealing; you have the rights. Search “PLR End of Life Planner” or “PLR Emergency Binder” on Etsy, Creative Fabrica, or PLR membership sites. Prices range from $5 to $30.
Before buying, ensure the template includes: personal information, important contacts, financial accounts, medical details, final wishes, digital assets, and a legal documents checklist. The more comprehensive, the higher the perceived value.
Customize your PLR template in Canva. Change colors, swap fonts, and add your brand’s vibe. Make it feel uniquely yours.
Notice this listing offers 12 different cover designs. That’s smart. It lets buyers choose their aesthetic—minimalist, floral, or traditional. Options help you make more sales.
By the way, one product I’ll show you later has a conversion rate three times higher than Etsy’s average. I’ll explain why that matters and how you can make more sales with less traffic. Stay tuned.
Product #2: Digital Stickers for Planners
If you’re not familiar, these are digital stickers used in planning apps like GoodNotes or Notability. People use them to decorate digital journals and planners.
The data shows this listing had 291 sales last month at a sale price of $3.28, making about $950 in revenue. It was published just 4 months ago. Etsy marks it as a “new markdown,” meaning they likely made even more before the sale.
Think about this: if you had ten sticker packs each making $500 a month, that’s $5,000 in mostly passive income. These are digital products—no inventory, no shipping.
Best of all, countless free YouTube tutorials show you how to make digital stickers in under 30 minutes.
Why are they exploding?
According to Cognitive Market Research, the global digital planners market is projected to hit over $7 billion, growing nearly 9% annually.
First, tablet and stylus use is skyrocketing. More people own iPads, Samsung tablets, and Apple Pencils than ever, shifting from paper to digital planning.
Second, people want sustainable planning. Digital planners reduce waste and can be reused year after year.
Third, the market craves hyper-personalization. People don’t want generic planners; they want to customize and make them their own. That’s where stickers come in.
Fourth, niche-specific planners are booming: fitness, budget, student, and meal planners. Each niche needs its own stickers and accessories.
Here’s the key: North America leads this market, and nearly 60% of Etsy buyers are in the U.S. You’re selling into the largest market for this product.
The beautiful part? You don’t need to create a complex digital planner. Just make the accessories. It’s like selling phone cases instead of the phone. You’re riding a billion-dollar wave by creating the fun, creative extras people buy repeatedly.
This listing has over 970 stickers—a massive bundle that adds to its perceived value. But you don’t need to start with 970. Begin with 50 stickers at a lower price. Bundling is the key strategy here; more stickers mean higher perceived value.
This is just one simple sales hack inside the Sales Sprint. For all my strategies, check the description.
Product #3: 2026 Calendars
This sounds basic, right? That’s exactly the point. People sleep on simple products like this, and it’s a huge mistake.
The numbers don’t lie. This listing had 100 sales last month at $4 each, making about $400 in revenue. They made $400 from a calendar people could find for free online.
Remember: people don’t just care about free; they care about convenience. They want a ready-to-use, well-designed product and are willing to pay for it.
Make your calendar stand out with a specific angle: minimalist, floral, botanical, seasonal, kids-themed, or productivity-focused. Customize it to fit your customer’s vibe.
Again, use Canva. Start with a PLR template, customize colors and fonts, add seasonal graphics, and export as a PDF or share a Canva template link. You could finish this in under an hour.
Timing matters. Google Trends shows searches for “printable calendar” spike every December and January. This is a seasonal product.
Now, an important lesson: many new sellers obsess over SEO. It matters, but it isn’t everything. Look at this listing’s keywords. “Yearly organization” has a high score of 270, but “12 monthly planner” is at 70, and “editable calendar” is at 20. None are considered high scores, yet this is still a bestseller making $400 a month.
Why? Etsy’s AI now reads listing photos. The algorithm doesn’t just rely on tags and titles; it understands your product from your images. I explain this fully in another video (watch it next).
If your images clearly show a 2026 calendar, Etsy will know what it is, even without perfect SEO. Don’t let SEO paralysis stop you. List your product and let the algorithm work.
This listing bundles three calendars for 60% off. That’s smart for perceived value, but I see a missed opportunity. A person buying one calendar likely doesn’t need two more.
Instead, bundle complementary products. Bundle the calendar with a matching weekly meal planner and a habit tracker. Or pair it with a budget tracker. These are products the same customer might want. That’s how you increase order value without being repetitive.
Don’t overthink it. Create something useful and get it listed.
Product #4: Wedding Table Numbers
This is an evergreen product—always in season because people always have weddings.
This listing makes about $500 a month. It’s only been live for 3 months, and it’s already pulling in that revenue.
Now, check this conversion rate: 7.2%.
The conversion rate is the percentage of people who view your listing and buy. On Etsy, 1-2% is typical. This listing converts at 3-4 times the average rate.
Why does this matter? It tells you if your listing is working. You could have thousands of views, but if no one buys, something is wrong—maybe the price, photos, or product mismatch.
For example, with 100 views and a 2% conversion rate on a $2.85 product, you make about $5.70. With the same 100 views and a 7% conversion rate, you make about $19. That’s three times more money from the same traffic.
A high conversion rate means everything is aligned: the design, price, photos, and problem-solving. Etsy sees this and pushes your product to more people.
Weddings are a sweet business. Couples don’t just buy table numbers. They need seating charts, place cards, welcome signs, menus, and thank-you cards. Create a matching suite or bundle, and that $2.85 order can become a $15-$20 order.
Start with table numbers, then expand into a full collection. Turn one-time customers into repeat buyers.
Product #5: Matchbook Poster Template
This product teaches a crucial lesson about pricing psychology that many new sellers miss.
Currently on sale for $11.36, it had 257 sales last month, making about $3,000. It’s only been live for 5 months.
What is a matchbook poster? It’s personalized wall art that looks like a vintage matchbook cover, customizable for couples, anniversaries, or engagements with photos, names, and dates.
The design is sentimental, nostalgic, and personal. People aren’t just buying wall art; they’re buying a keepsake. That justifies a higher price.
Higher prices don’t always hurt sales; sometimes they help. This listing’s original price is $32.44, on sale for $11.36—much higher than the $3-$5 printables.
Look at the keyword scores: “matchbook download” (350), “custom matchbox art” (330). These are high scores with strong search volume and low competition.
Consider the search intent. People looking for “custom matchbook art” aren’t searching for a cheap template. They want something meaningful and personalized, worth paying for.
The conversion rate here is 3.7%—lower than the wedding table numbers but still above average. With higher-priced items, conversion rates are often lower because people hesitate to spend more. But don’t race to the bottom on pricing.
If your product solves a real problem or fulfills an emotional need—like preserving a love story—people will pay premium prices. This product taps into emotion. It’s a memory, a gift, something to frame and cherish.
Because it’s editable, buyers personalize it themselves, making it feel custom without extra work from you. The listing clearly explains what’s included: one editable template plus instructions. This reduces confusion and builds customer confidence.
Good news: I just added a matchbook poster template to the Sales Sprint. If you’re a member, it’s ready for you to customize and list today. If not, this is exactly what the program includes—ready-to-use templates and step-by-step listing tutorials. The link is in the description.
Product #6: Tax Professional Flyers Bundle
I saved this for last because it teaches vital lessons about timing and niches.
The numbers: 99 sales last month at $4.30 each, bringing in about $400. This listing has been live for only 2 months and is already a bestseller—and most people aren’t even thinking about taxes yet.
Look at the trends graph: 100% growth rate last month. That spike isn’t random; it’s strategic timing.
Always consider when your customer needs the product. This isn’t for everyday consumers; it’s B2B (business-to-business). The customer is a tax professional, CPA, bookkeeper, or tax preparer.
When do they need marketing materials? Right now. Tax season runs January to April, so professionals ramp up marketing in October through December. They’re ordering flyers and social media templates now to attract clients in January.
Why I love the B2B space:
First, businesses have bigger budgets. A tax pro will gladly pay $7 for a bundle of 10 flyers that could bring in clients worth thousands.
Second, they buy in bulk. This bundle of 10 flyers offers huge perceived value—a full marketing kit, not just one item.
Third, they become repeat customers. Tax season happens every year. If they like your templates, they’ll return for updated versions.
Creating your flyer in Canva:
-
Use bold headlines: “Accepting New Tax Clients” or “File Your Taxes with Confidence.”
-
Include editable text fields for their business name and contact info.
-
Stick to one or two colors for a professional, clean look.
-
Use one or two fonts (one easy-to-read, one accent script).
-
Create multiple flyers and bundle them to increase perceived value.
This concept isn’t limited to tax professionals. Create similar bundles for real estate agents, insurance agents, fitness trainers, event planners, or salon owners. Every niche has seasonal demands and business owners with budgets to buy templates that save them time and make them money.
Your Next Step
The shops I showed you—making $400, $900, even $3,000 a month—all started with a first listing. I guarantee it wasn’t perfect. They didn’t wait until they knew everything or felt 100% ready. They picked a product and got it done.
The biggest mistake you can make isn’t choosing the wrong product; it’s not choosing any product at all.
So, pick one from this list. Create it this week. List it. That’s how you turn inspiration into income.
Right now, something is happening on Etsy that creates a massive opportunity for new sellers but crushes shops that don’t adapt. The algorithm is changing in ways people aren’t talking about. To learn how to use these changes to your advantage and make sales while others get left behind, watch my next video right here.
